The consumer market is characterised by high volume, low cost and high reliability. mSemicon is active in this sector with several custom PCBs.

Typical features include battery operation, wifi functionality, and user touchscreen displays. All product invariably also include embedded software running on microcontrollers or, increasingly, on single board computers, and many of these with OTA (over the air) capability, allowing upgrades to be implemented remotely.

Depending on the application, mSemicon can develop, supply and support the entire product, including an eventual custom housing, or just the electronics, as required. We can also guide the product through the necessary approvals, such as CE, where EMC testing features prominently.
